Fun Trip to Shelley

This last weekend me and Brent had the chance to go to Shelley to surprise Mary Kate and go to her moms funeral. (My grandma is originally from Shelley and as we were driving around, I really liked the little area. Reminds me of where I grew up. In the middle of no where in Rupert Idaho!) I'm really into surprising people, so I thought that this would be fun to surprise MK. I made Ali and Cat find out the details and then I got the directions from them and we found our way. We arrived to Shelley on Monday morning and I was so excited to see MK. I haven't seen her for about a year. I ran up to MK and gave her a big hug...I can't even explain the excitement but sadness that we experienced at the same time. It was so good to be there for her and share this moment with her. Her mom looks very peaceful and pretty in her temple clothes. Her mom, Carole was an amazing lady. It inspired me to get up and get more talents.

I stole these pictures from Cat's blog because I never had my camera with me but she took a bunch of pictures. Here we are after the funeral. We went and got a drink.
Here is me and Brent eating at MK's house after the funeral. Wow it was hot outside too! Good lunch too!
Here we are Me, Cailyn, Ali, and Mary Kate. MK's house was really pretty too! IT would be my ideal farm house that I would love to have one day! This picture totally brings back hair school days. I haven't see Cat and Ali since my wedding so it was nice to catch up with them. We hope to have a girls weekend sometime in July!
I have the best est friends ever. Hair school wouldn't of been the same without these girls. We are also known as the Steel Magnolias. We are missing two other girls Tiana and Jessica. I freaking love you guys!!!!! BFF

Brents Buzz

Here a couple weeks ago on a Sunday evening Brent decided that he wanted a hair cut. Not just the usual hair cut...a BUZZ!! Haha so we had to take before and after pictures. He said to me that he is going to be bold someday and so he wanted to prepare me early and he wanted to see if I would still like him when he was bold. Of course I would still love him...he is just so stinkin cute no matter what!

Check out this big ol hair ball after the fact! Haha I kind of had some fun while I was shaving his head. At first I cut a Mohawk. I just couldn't stop laughing. It was making him nervous so I went and got the mirror so he could watch me!
TAAADAAA...here are the final results! He is so cute once all said and done. He said that he never shaved his head when he was little. I remember that my brothers always shaved their head every summer so I was used to it. I thought that he looks like a little boy...someone else mentioned that he looks mean. I like to rub his head like all the time now because it feels so soft! He is still as cute as ever!!

Vylett's and Clints Birthday

I know we have been really bad at blogging lately, but we had the chance probably about a month ago to go home to Rupert and my brother and his family from Washington had a chance to come to Idaho for the weekend. We celebrated Vy's and Clints birthday. We had awesome party hats and lots of yummy food!!

Here is Vy and Clinto
