4th of July

Brent and I had the opportunity to go home for the 4th. My brother and his family from Washington come down also. We really a had a great time. My mom bought some fireworks and we set them off on the 3rd. But we had extras to do on the 4th also. We went to the parade in Rupert and then we just hung out and had a BBQ and went boating the rest of the day. It was really fun.

Here is a picture of my nephew and nieces Brogan, Ava and Vy. These kids make me laugh so hard. Brogan and Ava are 3 and a half and they are also just a few weeks apart and Vy is 6. In this picture they are patiently waiting for the "Little kids fireworks"
Here is a picture of the boat. We were a little hesitant to take it out on the 4th because it is so busy. We decided to go for a ride. We all go loaded and we started to leak oil like crazy...come to find out we didn't have the oil filter on correctly. We got it fixed and added more oil to the boat and we were on our merry way. We were out and about looking at some new houses and luckily we were going slower and we glazed over a sand bar. It didn't do anything to the boat but it defiantly slowed the boat down! Haha good thing that the kids were wearing life jackets and that Aunt Joni was on the look out to grab one kid from flying out!
Here are the "little kids fireworks" going off on the putting green at my mom's house.
Here is a back picture of Ava and Vy. Ava had her arm around Vy. I thought it was just darling! Ava doesn't get to see her cousins Vy and Bo bo very often...but you can tell that she misses them very much!

Here is a picture that I took of me and Brent. He went and helped his dad move water on his farm during the day on the 4th. Boy was I excited to see him return! We had a great night by building a fire and roasting marshmallows and watching the neighbors fireworks show and telling funny stories with my family about when we were kids!

Fun Trip to Shelley

This last weekend me and Brent had the chance to go to Shelley to surprise Mary Kate and go to her moms funeral. (My grandma is originally from Shelley and as we were driving around, I really liked the little area. Reminds me of where I grew up. In the middle of no where in Rupert Idaho!) I'm really into surprising people, so I thought that this would be fun to surprise MK. I made Ali and Cat find out the details and then I got the directions from them and we found our way. We arrived to Shelley on Monday morning and I was so excited to see MK. I haven't seen her for about a year. I ran up to MK and gave her a big hug...I can't even explain the excitement but sadness that we experienced at the same time. It was so good to be there for her and share this moment with her. Her mom looks very peaceful and pretty in her temple clothes. Her mom, Carole was an amazing lady. It inspired me to get up and get more talents.

I stole these pictures from Cat's blog because I never had my camera with me but she took a bunch of pictures. Here we are after the funeral. We went and got a drink.
Here is me and Brent eating at MK's house after the funeral. Wow it was hot outside too! Good lunch too!
Here we are Me, Cailyn, Ali, and Mary Kate. MK's house was really pretty too! IT would be my ideal farm house that I would love to have one day! This picture totally brings back hair school days. I haven't see Cat and Ali since my wedding so it was nice to catch up with them. We hope to have a girls weekend sometime in July!
I have the best est friends ever. Hair school wouldn't of been the same without these girls. We are also known as the Steel Magnolias. We are missing two other girls Tiana and Jessica. I freaking love you guys!!!!! BFF

Brents Buzz

Here a couple weeks ago on a Sunday evening Brent decided that he wanted a hair cut. Not just the usual hair cut...a BUZZ!! Haha so we had to take before and after pictures. He said to me that he is going to be bold someday and so he wanted to prepare me early and he wanted to see if I would still like him when he was bold. Of course I would still love him...he is just so stinkin cute no matter what!

Check out this big ol hair ball after the fact! Haha I kind of had some fun while I was shaving his head. At first I cut a Mohawk. I just couldn't stop laughing. It was making him nervous so I went and got the mirror so he could watch me!
TAAADAAA...here are the final results! He is so cute once all said and done. He said that he never shaved his head when he was little. I remember that my brothers always shaved their head every summer so I was used to it. I thought that he looks like a little boy...someone else mentioned that he looks mean. I like to rub his head like all the time now because it feels so soft! He is still as cute as ever!!

Vylett's and Clints Birthday

I know we have been really bad at blogging lately, but we had the chance probably about a month ago to go home to Rupert and my brother and his family from Washington had a chance to come to Idaho for the weekend. We celebrated Vy's and Clints birthday. We had awesome party hats and lots of yummy food!!

Here is Vy and Clinto
Make a BIG wish....
This is just he cutest picture ever. My mom and Vylett are like to peas in a pod...let alone they like so much alike.

YEAH Happy Birthday Vy and Clinto. We love you guys!!!

Wedding Pictures!

Yes, I know we are a year and a half late...but here are some of our wedding pictures! We finally recieved some. We got married on January 5th 2007 in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. It pretty much was the coldest day of our lives. I had no jacket or anything...by the time we got done taking pictures it felt like needles stabbing my hands. But I tell you what...it was worth every minute!!!

This was at our Reception.
This was our cool cake. It was perfect...I would have to say that it was the best part of our reception!!!
Here are our parents...(minus my dad, not sure where he was in this picture). January 5th was the best day of my life! We have more pictures but we will need to fix them!

Easter Weekend

Sorry we are a little late posting. But over Easter weekend we had a chance to go to one of Brent's good friends wedding in Idaho Falls. We went with Brent's parents and we ended up staying the night at the Red Lion. It was really fun. We had a wonderful view of the Idaho Falls Temple right out our room!! (Congrats Ian and Amy!!)

I'm still a kid at heart and I always will be one. Haha we made sugar cookies on Easter Eve and so right before we went to bed, I wanted to write the Easter Bunny a note! I wrote it with my left hand to make it look like a little kid wrote it and I also wrote some of my letters backwards. I also left him a sugar cookie for him to eat! I had to take a picture of the letter I wrote so you could get an idea.....

Well Sunday morning came along....my mom came knocking on my door and insisted that we came out because the Easter Bunny had came! So being all excited and giddy I ran out to the kitchen to see what he had brought us! He wrote a letter back that reads.......
I was laughing so hard. The Easter Bunny was really creative this year....I told him that there were some carrots in the fridge if he was still hungry after the sugar cookie.....
I looked over by the fridge and sure enough there were some half eatten carrots on the floor!
Then the Easter Bunny seemed to have an accident under the chair while he was eatting his cookies and carrots!!! Haha
Here is his half eaten delicious sugar cookies that he took a BIG 'ol bit out!
Here is the pretty basket of goodies that he left!!
We colored these pretty Easter eggs on Saturday night. When the Easter Bunny left a note for us he said that he hid 10 eggs...but he was being pretty sneaky...he really hid 11. We almost forgot one in the window. That would of been bad!!
Here is a picture of me and Brent getting ready to go to church!! I got a pretty new Easter dress so I was pretty excited!!
I ended up taking Monday off too because Brent had Spring Break and so we hung around. This picture was taken at my moms house. We got our golf clubs out and we started to hit our golf balls over the river. I tell you what....this is probably one of my favorite things to do. We hit hot pink balls over there so we could go and find them. Later on...Brent and Steve got in the canoe and rowed over to retrieve the balls.
Here is a close up of them digging in the trees trying to find the ball! We had probably the best weekend over! It was great to spend some time with our families!
