Easter Weekend

Sorry we are a little late posting. But over Easter weekend we had a chance to go to one of Brent's good friends wedding in Idaho Falls. We went with Brent's parents and we ended up staying the night at the Red Lion. It was really fun. We had a wonderful view of the Idaho Falls Temple right out our room!! (Congrats Ian and Amy!!)

I'm still a kid at heart and I always will be one. Haha we made sugar cookies on Easter Eve and so right before we went to bed, I wanted to write the Easter Bunny a note! I wrote it with my left hand to make it look like a little kid wrote it and I also wrote some of my letters backwards. I also left him a sugar cookie for him to eat! I had to take a picture of the letter I wrote so you could get an idea.....

Well Sunday morning came along....my mom came knocking on my door and insisted that we came out because the Easter Bunny had came! So being all excited and giddy I ran out to the kitchen to see what he had brought us! He wrote a letter back that reads.......
I was laughing so hard. The Easter Bunny was really creative this year....I told him that there were some carrots in the fridge if he was still hungry after the sugar cookie.....

I looked over by the fridge and sure enough there were some half eatten carrots on the floor!

Then the Easter Bunny seemed to have an accident under the chair while he was eatting his cookies and carrots!!! Haha

We colored these pretty Easter eggs on Saturday night. When the Easter Bunny left a note for us he said that he hid 10 eggs...but he was being pretty sneaky...he really hid 11. We almost forgot one in the window. That would of been bad!!

Here is a picture of me and Brent getting ready to go to church!! I got a pretty new Easter dress so I was pretty excited!!

I ended up taking Monday off too because Brent had Spring Break and so we hung around. This picture was taken at my moms house. We got our golf clubs out and we started to hit our golf balls over the river. I tell you what....this is probably one of my favorite things to do. We hit hot pink balls over there so we could go and find them. Later on...Brent and Steve got in the canoe and rowed over to retrieve the balls.
Here is a close up of them digging in the trees trying to find the ball! We had probably the best weekend over! It was great to spend some time with our families!

Trip to McCall

Over Presidents Weekend we had a chance to go to McCall with Brent's parents and sister! It was super fun. Before we left we hit up the gas station to get some snacks. Brent loves jerky and he found this huge piece of jerky. It was okay...wouldn't buy it again!

We finally arrived to McCall. We were out walking around looking at the ice sculptures and for those of you that might not now...we just love dogs. I thought that was the funniest picture over, the owner of the car must of been shopping or working and he had his dogs with him. The dogs looked like humans...one was in the passenger seat and the other in the driver seat. I had to take a picture because it was so adorable!!!

Here is a picture of an ice sculpture. It was kind of hard to tell what they were because they were starting to melt. But this one was a mermaid with large bosoms! Ha ha

On our way back to Boise, I wanted to play a game because the ride was getting a bit long and I needed something to do. So we played the ABC game. That was really fun...don't really recall who won but hey it made time go by fast!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRENT!!!

It was Brents birthday on Febuary 2nd! I wanted to make sure that his day was full of lots of fun. First of all, we have a hard time keeping secrets from each other...expecially if there are presents involved. He got his birthday present like in January...which was a BSU sweatshirt. He has been wanting one for a very long time and I had a coupon for one. Haha but anyways, we went to Boon Docks on his birthday. We had a ton of fun. We felt like kids again playing arcade games and getting a bunch of tickets and we got a cool ball. Haha then we hung out with Brents sister Tara for a while and then we went out to dinner. (Mean while I was trying to take pictures of our fun day and the batteries died in my camera...just our luck) So we got home and I made him a Blueberry Cheese Cake...his favorite.

Here is the picture of the yummy cheese cake! Boy was it GOOOOOOOOD!!! Its not a birthday party if you don't have cool plates to eat off of! The movie "CARS" was awesome!!!

Our 1 Year Anniversary!!!!

Well for those of you that don't know, its been one year since we have tied the knots!! Yes, its been the best so far!! I couldn't of asked for a better husband. We decided we wanted to get away to somewhere so we went up to Sun Valley! Here are some pictures of our great adventure!! We were leaving Boise on Jan. 4th and the wind was blowing 50 mph! The tumble weeds were blowing across the road like no other and then they would get caught in the fence. But it felt like we were in a Nintendo game because we kept on dodging all of the tumble weeds! Haha it was fun!!

Haha after we got to Sun Valley it started to snow. We went into down town to get some grocery's and we walked across the street and it looked like I had dandruff because it was snowing so hard! Pretty cute huh!!

As if you couldn't tell, it snowed all night. We got up the next day to go out and Oscar (our pickup) was just covered in snow. I haven't seen so much snow in such a little period of time. We were there for 3 days and it probably snowed a foot and a half! Crazy huh!!!

Brent has only been to Sun Valley a few times so he wanted to go walk around. They had some cool ice sculptures!
Here is Brent hanging out in the sleigh! He got a new coat for Christmas! He was lookin all fancy smancy in his new coat on our Anniversary! Whoot Whoot!!

Here is a cute picture of us on our Anniversary! I was going to ask someone to take it for us but the people up there are kind of rude! So I have some pretty good skills of taking pictures of us! Not too bad huh!

After we went out to dinner at a nice place for our Anniversary we decided to go back to the condo and play games! For those of you that might now know we just love to play games. My new favorite one is Sequence. Haha for some reason I had a hard time winning this night. We probably played 30 times and I won twice! Brent is very competitive and so he wouldn't just let me win. Haha but we had to take a picture because I thought it was funny that I kept on playing and I wasn't winning. Half way through the game I decided to switch my chips to the green ones and I had better luck!!

Heres to the BEST YEAR EVER!! We ended the night with a drink of mini Martinellis!

Christmas '07

Here is what Brent got for Christmas from his family. If you don't know...he LOVES BSU football so he found these kick butt slippers that he had to have! But as you can tell...they are on my feet. Hehe

Here is our cute Christmas Tree. This was taken on Christmas Eve. We ended up getting up at 5:30 a.m. to open our gifts. Haha we can only imagine what Christmas is gonna be like when we do get kids. Haha I will be the one that will be waking the kids up because I'm so excited to open presents!

Here is Buckwheat...my mom was decorating the Christmas Tree one night and he was watching her and they found some reindeer antlers and they put them on him and he totally started to pout! He is the cutest dog ever!!

Christmas 2007

Here is the cutest picture ever! We were at my mom's house having Christmas and our niece Ava got the cutest boots, hat and vacuum. AS you can tell she was so excited! Her Uncle Clinto and Heather got them for her!
